Happy Summer To You!

As you may know we moved to the hill country outside Austin, Texas earlier this year. We are loving new our community, country lake life, our daily visiting deer, and indeed the bounty of sunshine. We have enjoyed hiking, lots of swimming in pools and lakes, paddle boarding, boating, bicycle riding, rock climbing, underground cave walking, and friends coming to visit.

The summer heat came early, nonetheless, we still eat Eat Me In A Pinch hot soups on a regular basis. Honestly, no matter where you are, or what you're doing, these quick cooking, tasty, and healthy soups come in handy! Be sure to pack some in your summer camping adventures supplies!

Cooking Tips!

• The Chummy Chili - Cook this soup and let it sit to thicken up. Use it as a burrito filler for a simple camping meal!
• The Piggy Free Split Pea Soup - This soup is almost instant, so if you have access to only hot water, you could add hot water and it will be ready in a few minutes.
• The Passionately Potato Soup - Again, this soup is almost instant, and in a pinch you could add hot water and let it thicken to serve. You can also let this soup thicken even more and make it a mashed potato dish.
