I am super excited about the ingredient improvements
and taste testing results we are experiencing.
There's so much that goes into making dry soups mix products
including taste, nutrition and price.
There's a ton of trial, error and eating going on in our kitchen,
however, we are making progress!
Nailed it! My tomato soup needed a little somethin somethin. I made this a vegan soup with coconut milk to make it creamy. It was just a little too sweet with the coconut milk and the tomato. After a number of revisions, I nailed the balance of sweet to savory. So far, all taste testers approve!
I've had fun working on soups and taste testing around making fresh holiday dishes like a giant veggie quiche, shepherd's pie and gingerbread cookies for Santa (and lots for us)... all organic of course.
